Africa: a growing consumer market

The African continent is made up of 54 countries, home to nearly 1.4 billion people. The second most populous continent on the planet also has the highest population growth rate, indicating the presence of a growing consumer market.

In 2023, African countries were the fourth main destination for Brazilian exports. There are more than 6,000 business opportunities for Brazilians in the region, according to the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).

“We are closer to these businesspeople and governments. This way, Furlan will have the opportunity to export its equipment and spare parts, generating good business for Brazil and contributing to the development of these countries,” says Janaina.

Máquinas Furlan is also improving its governance. The Foreign Trade Promotion Agency prioritizes, in its missions, participants who invest in a constant flow of exports and in the presence of women in leadership positions.
