Máquinas Furlan was one of the highlights of the industrial segment at the 43rd edition of Limeirense Business Day. The award recognizes companies and people who promote the economic and social development of the Limeira region, valuing the work, dedication and entrepreneurial spirit of businesspeople and leaders.
The award ceremony took place on the evening of October 18th, in Limeira. Máquinas Furlan was represented by the CEO, Valter Zutin Furlan, and by his brother, Wagner Zutin Furlan, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The honorees are chosen based on nominations from members of the Limeira Commercial and Industrial Association (ACIL). The organization will celebrate its 91st anniversary in November. Held annually since 1981, Limeirense Business Day showcases the careers of entrepreneurs and personalities.
This was the second time that Máquinas Furlan was on the list of honorees. In 2010, the award was given to Geraldo Furlan, the company's founder. Geraldo passed away in 2016, leaving behind a story that inspires entrepreneurs in the city.
For the president of ACIL, Valmir Lopes, “the tribute is a recognition of those who, with dedication, a lot of resilience and entrepreneurial spirit, transform Limeira into a city of opportunities that inspires people”.
Furlan Machines: R$50 million in investments until 2028
The choice of Máquinas Furlan is the result of several records of progress in its management process, generating positive results for the company, employees and the community. The exit from Judicial Recovery was one of the important records in this recent trajectory.
With 62 years of operations, the company also stands out for its investments in its industrial park, in the city of Limeira (SP), and in people management. It will be around R$50 million by 2028, consolidating the organization as one of the main global suppliers of equipment and parts for the mining industry.
Valter Zutin Furlan and Wagner Zutin Furlan received the diploma and the plaque of honor, presented by Valmir Lopes, businessmen and authorities, such as the mayor of Limeira, Mário Botion.
The company's executives were accompanied by managers and specialists Marcelo Della Coletta (Operations Planning); Homero Santos (DNPSA); João Aldrigui (People Management); Silvia Della Riva (Director); Juliana Pires (Human Resources); Emerson Ribeiro (Administrative and Financial); and Eduardo Borrelli (Industrial). The group represents approximately 400 company employees.
Continuous growth and knowledge for the community
The fact that the selection process is also based on the recommendations of businesspeople is one of the event’s strengths. “We are a global company, but one of our goals is to enhance the business chain in our city,” said Valter Furlan, who previously chaired the Limeira Commercial and Industrial Association (ACIL).
"We would also like to thank our employees, collaborators, managers, coordinators, leaders and representatives. They are essential to Máquinas Furlan, as they bring with them the commitment and assertive actions that allow us to continue growing and leave a legacy of knowledge for the Limeira community", stated Valter.
Wagner Furlan highlighted the stories reported in the awards ceremony. "We have participated in this significant event since the very first one, alongside our father, and seeing it continue to this day is something that fills us with pride. We hope that Limeirense Business Day will continue, confirming the efforts of so many companies that have contributed to the growth of Limeira."
